SWEDE:

Originating from the 2008 Michel Gondry film, “Be Kind, Rewind,” a sweded film is a low-budget short remake of a famous film. There are constraints on time and use of special effects (all effects are created in camera, rather than digitally). Many of our Swede remakes are shot-for-shot from the original film.
